Dr. Jayme A. Sokolow is founder, owner, and president of The Development Source, Inc. a Washington, DC metropolitan area company that helps nonprofit organizations and government agencies develop proposals and development programs to federal and state agencies, international governments, foundations, and corporate giving sources. Over the past 20 years, he has been involved in successful proposal efforts totaling more than a billion dollars as a Proposal Manager, Proposal Writer, and Strategist.  Dr. Sokolow has supported over 200 client projects since 1991.

Proposal Services

Highlights:

  • Served as a Proposal Writer on a large team that won a $1 billion, 20-year college scholarship program grant from a foundation on behalf of a higher education organization.

  • Served as the Proposal Manager for an international organization that led a $70 million foundation grant to support family planning services in five countries.

  • Directed a one-year elementary school climate study in Allentown, PA on behalf of a civic education organization.

  • Served as the Proposal Manager that led to a West Virginia School of Nursing’s first federal grant.

  • Served as the Proposal Manager on behalf of a human rights organization that led to multiple federal grants for education and outreach.

  • Researched and wrote a White Paper for an education organization recommending how it could serve more Hispanic high school and college students.

  • Served as the Proposal Manager of three federal grant applications that were funded to establish a pediatric residency dental program at an urban children’s hospital.

  • Served as the Proposal Manager of over 15 successful grant proposals to the US Department of Health and Human Services on behalf of the Government of Washington, DC.
